SAHA ANNUAL MEETING

What is the SAHA annual meeting about?

The annual meeting is for the general membership of SAHA along with the current board members to review reports from officers and committees, to approve amended bylaws, and to elect officers and directors to serve on the board.

We need SAHA members at this meeting to nominate and vote for officers and directors. If you are interested in being on the SAHA board, or if you want to have a voice in who is voted to be on the board, please attend the annual meeting Wednesday, April 5th, 6:00 in the John C Hack meeting room.


THE GILBY WILL BE MARCH 31- APRIL 2 2017 AT SUPERIOR ICE ARENA

This tournament began in 2006, by the Gilbertson family to memorialize their brother, Keith.  In the first five years the family raised funds to establish a scholarship in Keith’s name at Superior High School.  The scholarship is awarded annually to a male and female hockey player.  Once the scholarship fund reached a point of endowment, the Gilbertson family graciously passed the tournament on to SAHA to be used as a fundraising vehicle for the association. 

Over the past five years the rink has used the funds to: upgrade the sounds system, purchase jerseys, sponsor teams, bring events to the rink and purchase a Zamboni (just to name a few things).


The Strength Factory is offering the families of SAHA $5 drop in rates to any Standard Classes which include: Bodyweight, Cycling, Kettlebells, Kickboxing, Mystery, and Suspension Training.

Strength Factory would also be willing to add additional class times specifically to accommodate SAHA families as long as there are 12 people for the class!
